This place is amazing! Everything is fresh and so delicious !!! I am not fond of Japanese foods and I would say for the first time, I have eaten more than my normal evening meal. Can't stop ordering and I finished just about everything on my plate Which is not me. I am a very picky eater, but that night, it changed me completely, Everybody in my family wondering why I ate so much. Something must have happened to me that night, like I never say no to anything. You all need to go and try these foods yourself, for you to know. "Why" I cannot explain haha....Defenitely, Will be back. Service was also outstanding! A+++++

this is an exceptional all you care to eat restaurant. we had a great experience and every time we go it's wonderful. The value is great. The service is friendly and responsive even when it's busy you don't have to wait long and the price is great. I suggest going between about 2 and 5 PM and ordering off the dinner menu everything tastes really fresh and delicious and don't forget to have the fried cheesecake at the end. Yum. The restaurant inside is very clean with clean bathrooms and just a traditional Chinese buffet ambience but very nice nicely done.

This place is our favorite for sushi in Tampa! The quality is fresh and delicious and the sushi rolls have a great variety. The fried rice is amazing and they have a great selection of non sushi items like tempura, noodles, dumplings, soups, etc. the servers are always friendly and happy to make suggestions. The restaurant itself is really nice, seating is comfortable, and the music is always really good.

Definitely my go-to spot for AYCE sushi! I'm honestly surprised I have never written a review before because I've been at least 10 times lol. They've got all the basics down - large parking lot, great service every time, and a relaxing vibe. It's also always full in here, but I rarely ever have to wait! Starting September 1, 2024, they started a new rule where everyone at your table must order from either the ACYE menu or the traditional menu. Just good to know! They also serve the dinner menu all day on Saturday and Sunday so be aware of that too. The lunch price is $20.95 and I think the dinner is more like $35 (but don't quote me on that). Some of my favorites - Spicy Kani Salad, Spicy Salmon Hand Roll, and the Baby Tiger Roll. But try lots of different things and enjoy!!!

Walking into Sushi Yama on a busy Friday night, I was pleasantly surprised by the lively vibe--and by their "all-you-can-eat" sushi deal! It's not a typical buffet; instead, you order from your table, and they bring everything right to you. I'd tried a similar setup in Miami, and it's a style I really enjoy. They've got a whole team behind the sushi counter, so even with the crowd, orders come out fast. We decided to sit at the bar, and Maleki, our bartender, was fantastic. He explained how the all-you-can-eat worked, made us feel welcome, and managed to keep up with everyone around us. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm definitely excited to go back! Note: You can order as much as you want, but if you have a lot of leftovers, they'll weigh it and charge a bit extra.

*Mondays-Thursdays* No AYCE after 9pm. Our second time here. Got here about 9:15 on a Thursday so we can only do A la cart. The quality and portions felt different than that of AYCE but makes sense. My udon was really good. The texture of the noodle was great. Everyone loved their sushi/sashimi. Our waitress was really attentive. Still will be one of our go to when in Tampa. Just next time got to make sure we make it there before 9pm.

I came here for a date night with my boyfriend. We came on a Saturday night and had about a 45 min wait. We were eventually seated and went for the all you can eat (AYCE) option. I got a lychee martini which was perfectly sweet and definitely packed a punch! We ordered a bunch of different specialty and traditional rolls, hand rolls, sashimi, and miso soup. Everything was so fresh and flavorful and our server was great with checking in with us as we started finishing dishes. We also got an order of fried cheesecake which was a sweet way to end the night! Great spot and lots of variety!

Came here for the all you can eat (AYCE) and left full and happy. Decided to walking in and sit at the bar and ended up having the best service I've experienced in a while. The highlight of the AYCE was the volcano roll and yellowtail sashimi. If you're hungry and you don't mind a $35 price tag the all you can eat has an amazing variety of choices from sushimi, sushi, saladhibachi, fried appetizers, and so much more.

6 months ago, the lunch AYCE was $18.95, 2 months was $19.95, today $20.95. While the price of AYCE is rising, it's still the best place to try some great sushi. The restaurant was packed today. I would recommend getting here as soon as they open, less waiting around. Great service as always, today we were served by Christian. No complaints. Today's favorite were Double crunchy roll, Yama roll, King Kai. Also Kani salad and Kani Naruto roll (appetizer).
